For decades, I worked very hard to follow the path that society and my family had laid out for me.
I got the job and made it into a career.
I went to college.
I started a business.
I bought a house.
I got married.
But I always felt like there was something missing.
So I went to events by:
Tony Robbins, Jeff Walker, Ryan Levesque, Russell Brunson and others
I did acupuncture, herbs, counseling, EMDR, energy work and more.
I learned lots of words and techniques. But I still felt a big hole inside.
Why wasn’t I happier more often? Why wasn’t I more satisfied with life?
Covid was the start of the end.
Work contracts dried up.
Personal trauma surfaced while my marriage shattered.
I found myself in a house that didn’t feel like a home.
So I took a leap, a trust fall, bigger than I’d ever done before.
I sold almost everything and left.
I went looking for what was missing.
And what I found was…me.
It was incredibly scary.
I didn’t know where I was going.
I followed this tiny inside voice that said, “go here”, “now go here”.
And along the way, everything somehow always worked out.
For 3 years, I honed my intuition, uncovered my desires and fears, and listened.
What did I find?
That each and every one of my prior experiences have beautifully led me to today. And I love who I am today.
That my childhood traumas developed some of my most cherished gifts and skills.
That I was never broken. But my body miraculously kept me safe and functioning for years by hiding burdens that were too hard to process at their time of origin.
That I am whole. That I belong.
And that the only one who can fully know what I want and what I don’t want…is me.
